Big Flare Clients Connector (our Shopify app)

What we access: With your permission (scopes read_products and read_reports), the app reads aggregate sales data through Shopify's ShopifyQL analytics and product titles through the Shopify Admin GraphQL API. It reads only aggregate totals. It does not read, display, or store individual customer records or order-level personal data.

Why we use it: The app shows you a read-only sales summary inside your Shopify admin. It also lets Big Flare include your store's aggregate sales in the advertising reports we deliver to you as your agency.

Who accesses it, and how: Big Flare staff read the aggregate sales through a secure internal system. Access requires Google sign-in and is locked to the Big Flare company domain. Staff query this data using an AI assistant, Claude, provided by Anthropic. Anthropic processes the aggregate sales data only to return the results of those queries.

Service providers: We use Cloudflare to host the app and to store credentials, encrypted; Anthropic to provide the AI assistant above; and Google for staff sign-in and, when building spreadsheet reports, Google Sheets and Drive. Each provider processes data only to deliver its service.

Storage and deletion: The app stores an encrypted access token for your store. We delete it when you uninstall the app and when Shopify sends a shop-redaction request. Aggregate sales data is read on demand and is not retained beyond the reports we produce for you.

Your choices: Uninstall the app anytime from your Shopify admin to end its access. To request deletion or ask about your data, contact us at [email protected].
